New Ford Ranger FX2 Package Available
For midsize truck buyers who want a sporty-looking and capable truck, but don’t need four-wheel drive, Ford is introducing a new FX2 package for the all-new Ford Ranger. This new package brings lots of stylish and capability-focused upgrades to the popular midsize pickup.
Aimed at drivers who do more driving in urban areas, the Ranger FX2 comes with either 17- or 18-inch wheels, a front underbody guard, air dam-delete, an electronic-locking rear differential, off-road tuned suspension and Ford’s off-road cluster screen.
“We’re seeing sales trends that tell us to grow Ranger’s capability and appearance options even further,” said Chad Callander, Ford Ranger consumer marketing manager. “The FX2 Package is a result of us listening to our customers and what they’re demanding from their trucks.”
Many Ford Ranger buyers are opting for one or more special packages for their new truck, with the most popular being the Trailer Tow Package, the Sport Appearance Package, Chrome Appearance Package, STX Appearance Package and FX4 Off-Road Package.
The 2019 Ford Ranger continues to be a great value in the midsize pickup truck segment, offering Built Ford Tough build quality and strength, along with a class-exclusive 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine and 10-speed automatic transmission.
